the prophet’s second complaint: it is simply that the wicked in Babylon will be justly dealt with, as well as the wicked in Judah. Yet, it is here that we find grace: there will be a remnant of believers who will live even though nations crumble around them. Finally, the book ends on a high note. Habakkuk composes a psalm that is redolent of the glory of the sovereign God of the universe. The prophet no longer complains, but now he has complete trust and faith in the Holy One of Israel.
